The Hangover Part II made its rooftop bar world-famous in 2011 — the hotel leaned in, selling 'Hangovertini' cocktails at the exact table where the film was shot. Drinks at 247 m with no window between you and the city.

Jing ler? — no way

The tower's 'Roman column' silhouette nearly became a ruin: construction froze in the 1997 Asian financial crisis, and the half-built shell loomed over Silom for years before rescue. Its architect also designed the Ghost Tower across the district — one twin was saved, one wasn't.
