About Bangkok Explorer
Bangkok Explorer is an independent, travel-focused learning platform about Bangkok: an interactive 3D city you can fly through, backed by written district guides, landmark stories, verified street-food recommendations, itineraries and a Thai phrasebook.
The project started with a simple bar for quality: every fact had to make a well-travelled friend say "jing ler?" — "really?!". Plaque trivia was cut; the surprising, sourced stories stayed. Every historical claim links to its Wikipedia source article, and every restaurant recommendation passes published, checkable criteria (see our editorial methodology).

- A street-food guide of 26 spots, each verified against Google Maps rating data or Wongnai;

Bangkok Explorer is independently produced and edited. We are not owned by, or affiliated with, any hotel, airline or booking platform. If and when we earn affiliate commissions, that is disclosed on our Affiliate Disclosure page and never changes what we recommend.
